The little known feat of Lord Torturer was the acquittal of the Harlequinn Vanishing Encyclopedia.
The Noise Raptor, like many, had been enamoured with the idea to gaining access to the fabled Black Library, protected by the Eldar, and like many, failed in his quests.
However, during his raid on a ship of the followers of the Laughing God that so easily thwarted his search for the Black Library, Cegorach, the Slaaneshi, to his own bemusement uncovered the many tomes of the Vanishing Encyclopedia. It was the relic of Harlequinns, visible only when bathed in the blood of Cegorach minions, and Torturer kept it that way.
Now, suspended in vats full of Eldar blood, the Encyclopedia opened itself to the mortals that were never intended to gaze upon it. It contained no special power in itself, if for the power to imbue the reader with the sparkling, sharp wit of Cegorach himself.
Unfortunately, and Torturer never came to realize it, it was not written for human eyes and minds. So he, as well as other selected few from the warband that had an understanding of written Eldar languade, studied the texts. The results were surprising, to say the least.
Torturer's already crude humor became so distasteful, insulting and flat throught the invocation of Cegorach's power, the corruptive chaos force melding it inside the Slaaneshi's mind into a horrid destructive psyker force itself.
Torturer also began to draw - ungodly pictures containing madly twisted stick figures and feline creatures, captioning the images with dark quotes from chaotic texts and calling these pieces of propaganda "memes". His warcry became that of "FUCK U NOOB, COME AT ME BRO", instead of the usual noise blasts.
It was told, by those still alive and possessing tongues, that the Noise Raptor actually talked several highly colored Space Marines to death from embarrassment, forcing them to commit suicide.
And so it was...
___
That's for 's contest or shit. Also playing off the fact that loyalist marines have certain... troubles
Here's a fluff-related question... since Chaos marines are former Imperial marines who've been corrupted by the Warp, fallen into dominion of one Chaos god or another, wouldn't they also have the same "trouble"? After all, the entire "armouring process" is fairly catastrophic in terms of modification.
it makes the angry frown so you know what the "Little Marine" is thinking!
