You can compare religion to peer-reviewed science all you want, but at the end of the day, planes fly, but faith healing doesn't.

I very greatly appreciate this. I got a great laugh out of the kid's destruction in the argument! One thing, though.. Loose means something like loose shoelaces, loose bolts, loose enforcement, etc. The word you are looking for is lose. Just thought I'd give you the heads up before some idiot pulls the "You were the first one to make a spelling mistake, so that completely debunks your argument." I hate that, and I would imagine you do too, so I thought I'd give a helping hand.
